OASIS - OLD AGE SUBSISTENCE IMPROVEMENT SCHEME

As an innovative measure towards the welfare of the poor, old and ailing members of KRRA, the Old Age Subsistence Improvement Scheme, acronymously called OASIS, has been introduced since January 2011. Under the scheme, a monthly allowance of Rs.150/- is being paid to the most deserving four aged members of our Association. The initial fund for this novel and noble activity was voluntarily provided by two well-wishers, Mr Patrick Montgomery and Mrs Joyce Montgomery of USA. Subsequently some voluntary donors from within KRRA and many solicited donors from outside KRRA as well as the same American couple have helped us to create a Corpus Fund which now serves as a perennial source of income that generates itself a fixed amount by way of accrued interest every month. With the addition of three more members, the total number of beneficiaries has risen to eight at present.

KRRA places on record its deep sense of gratitude to all those who have contributed to the OASIS. (For more details please click here)
